Sanna is building a new kind of accounting firm, designed from the ground up for a world where AI handles much of the manual work that has defined the industry for decades.
We combine accounting expertise with software and AI to deliver better service at a lower cost. Founded in 2025, we already serve more than 2,000 companies. We’re starting with holding companies in Norway, expanding into operating companies, and building for international scale from day one.
We’re intentionally building a small team of exceptional builders in Oslo and Stockholm. Engineers work directly with accountants and clients, with substantial ownership over what we build and how it performs.
What we are building
We’re building an intelligence platform for accounting, focused on automation and communication, with AI doing the work and accountants reviewing results and handling exceptions.
The product connects financial data, documents, and conversations. It helps accountants understand what needs their attention, review completed work, and communicate with clients. For clients, it makes providing information and understanding their accounts simpler.

The Role
We’re looking for a Product Engineer to turn messy accounting and customer problems into simple, useful products.
You’ll work directly with accountants and clients, help decide what to build, and carry solutions through design, implementation, and production. You’ll build across interfaces, backend services, APIs, and integrations, including AI where it improves the outcome.
Ownership starts before a feature is defined. You’ll question whether a workflow needs to exist, find the simplest way to solve the problem, and measure whether what you shipped actually helps.
What You'll Do
Own problems end to end, from talking to users and shaping solutions to building, shipping, and improving them.
Build clear interfaces for complex work: reviewing AI output, handling exceptions, and understanding what needs attention.
Simplify client workflows, from providing missing documents to getting useful answers about their accounts.
Build the APIs, data flows, integrations, and AI capabilities that make the product work.
Prototype quickly, use AI tools to build faster, and invest in quality and reliability as solutions become part of everyday work.
What We're Looking For
Strong fullstack experience, with care for both the user experience and the systems behind it.
Product judgment. You investigate the underlying problem, challenge assumptions, and make thoughtful decisions about what to build.
The ability to turn complex workflows into clear interactions and fewer steps.
Comfort integrating LLMs and working with AI-powered features, with curiosity about their capabilities and limits.
Active use of coding agents and AI tools, with responsibility for understanding and verifying their output.
A track record of taking an ambiguous problem through to a working product, communicating clearly, and following through after launch.
You don’t need an accounting background, but you should enjoy learning a complex domain and making it simpler for the people working in it.
